In the past days i talked to a friend about how few good urban songs coming out these days. And see miracle, here is Macklemore's new tune. Glorious feautring the super-talented Skylar Grey, who i adore the most of all new female artists. Though she is not that new, you can read about her by clicking here!

So about the new tune:as you already know, the chorus is singed by Skylar, was produced by Josh "Budo" Karp with help from Tyler Dopps. Glorius is the forerunner of Macklemore's upcoming solo album. Yes, as you read, without Ryan Lewis.
The project is yet untitled, but this is his first solo album since 2005, when The Language of my world was released, in 2012 he dropped the Heist with Ryan Lewis, followed by This Unruly Mess I've Made in 2016.

Yesterday was the 2014 EMA in Glasgow, which was hosted by Nicki Minaj herself. She was stunning at the gala - no offense people this is my opinion. The rapper-singer performed her biggest hits, plus premiered a brand new song titled as Bed of lies and featured by my personal favorite artist Skylar Grey.

This song will be maybe on her next album Pinkprint, because Nicki told on stage that the record will be released soon. But she also told earlier that no collabs will be on that record. Anyway, i love this song. Skylar added some real misty mood to Nicki's raps. Check it out!

Tegnap volt a 2014. EMA díjátadó Glasgowban, amelynek házigazdája a rapper-énekes Nicki Minaj. A
"művésznő" egyékbént jól nézett az este folyamán, nekem a piros és a fehér rucija tetszett a legjobban. Fel is lépett nem csak levezényelte az estét, hiszen előadta legnagyobb slágereit. Na, meg először lépett színpadra a Bed of Lies című számával, amelyben az én személyes kedvencem Skylar Grey vendégszerepel. Talán ez a szám is rajta lesz Nicki következő lemezén amely a Pinkprint címet kapta. Bár a rapper korábban azt nyilatkozta, hogy nem lesznek rajta duók. Mindegy, a dal szerintem állat! Skylar egy kis "ködös" hangulatot ad a nótához és ez így tökély!

My favorite is This love and Freshy. So cool! Skylar Grey featured Love Bullets is too sentimental for me, but i waited for this so excited. I waited for a Miley Cyrus featured song too, (it's trend to have her in a single?), and i got it. Fall down features Miley, and it's not so bad. But i like her more in Snoop's song.

 Úgy gondolom, hogy ő egyike  napjaink legmeghatározóbb zenei innovátorainak. Egy igazi élő ikon, aki olyan zenét csinál, amely egyedülálló és kiszámíthatatlan. A lemezre vártam egy Miley Cyrusszal közös dalt, meg is kaptam, ez a Fall down. Nem rossz, de nincs olyan jó, mint a Snoop Lionnal közös dal. 

Skylar Grey finally released her new single Final Warning. I'm a bit' dissapointed, this isn't that heavy-beat that find you in the head after one listen. But intuitive, effective, and definetly catchy.

Sklyar Grey kiadta a Final Warningot. Kicsit csalódott vagyok, mert ez nem az a kemény szám, amit egyszer meghallgatsz és fejbevág..... De nagyon hatásos, érzékletes és persze fülbemászó.

Skylar Grey released this scary teasers for her upcoming new single Final Warning. She's driving with a truck, beside her an axe on the front seat passenger. After that, she shared via her youtube channel the second vid, she's walking in the supermarkt with the axe in her hands and she's pulling it on the floor. Just like in a creepy horror movie.

 

All of this few-faw-fum was for her new single Final Warning, the song will be released on 16th April. She announced it as the first single of the upcoming debut album, and also this Skylar Grey's favorite track.
She wrote it three years ago, but already the fav. She told, that this was the song that made her to create the whole Skylar Grey project.
Acutally i found this acapella version of the song, which contains lyrics. "i drove your truck in the lake last night, hope she was worth it...." she sings. "Im goning to the kitchen coming back with a knife" - she continues the final warning. Definetley an agressive hit! :D Can't wait!

 Final Warning is a piece of Don't look down, this is her very first album, due to release on 9th July. What to expect? She told Rolling Stone that the album is a mix of folk, pop and hip-hop music. The release date is also her best friends birthday, so she don't want to play the new music, maybe "get wasted or setting off fireworks in Hawaii...I just want to be celebrating the fact that i pushed a baby out."

Skylar will be featured on Will.I.Am.'s upcoming album Will-Power. They recorded a song together LoveBullets, and she didn't expect that it will be ever released. But Will.I.am made another interpretation of the song and rumor has it, it will be a smash!

Also Skylar made this song for the Host movie. Frickin' cool!

Kiadta Skylar Grey ezeket a beparáztatós teasereket, mint "utolsó" meg "második figyelmeztetés". Az egyiken egy terepjárót vezet, közben cigizik és az ülésen mellette egy balta van. A rádióban Skylar új dala szól, a Final Warning. Egy másik videóban meg egy szupermarketben látjuk viszont, amint a baltát maga után húzza a földön.
Ez persze csak a hatáskeltés része az új kislemez promójának. A Final Warning hivatalosan a hamarosan megjelenő album első kislemeze. Skylar a Rolling Stone magazinnak azt nyilatkozta, hogy ez a kedvenc dala. Még három éve írta, de mindig visszatér ehhez a dalhoz, mert ez indította el azon az úton, amely során Hollyból Skylarré alakult át.

 

Az első lemez dátuma is megvan már, az énekes-dalszerző július 9-én jelenteti meg a Don't look down című bemutatkozó lemezét. És, hogy mire számíthatunk? Skylar azt nyilatkozta: a folk, pop és hip-hop keveréke lesz. Mivel mindegyik stílus hozzátartozik a személyiségéhez. A kiadás napján lesz egy barátja szülinapja is, úgyhogy azt mondta az énekesnő, hogy nem akar zenélni aznap. "Talán bepiálunk, netán tűzijátékot eregetünk Hawaiin! Az biztos, hogy azt akarom ünnepelni, hogy világra hoztam a gyermekemet!"
Találtam nektek egy acapella verziót a dalból. Dalszöveg is van hozzá, ami arról tanúskodik, nagyon agresszív kis nóta lesz. :D A dalszöveg szerint, Skylar egy tóba vezeti a pasija kocsiját, és egy késsel a kezében jön vissza a konyhából! :O
 Én nagyon várom.

 

Skylar Grey hallható lesz Will.I.Am hamarosan érkező Will-Power című lemezén is. Az énekesnő még tavaly vett fel egy számot a mogullal, de nem gondolta, hogy bármi is lesz belőle. De Will egy új keveréssel, valami egészen más számot csinált belőle. A LoveBullets az április 23-án megjelenő Will.I.Am lemezen lesz hallható.

At long last, Skylar Grey released her crazy funny video for C'mon let me ride featruing Eminem. I think the clip is great, hilarious, sleazy and cool! I didn't thought that Skylar could be so funny like that. And Eminem....oh God, i missed him so much! They already worked together, as you may know. Skylar wrote the hit single Love the way you lie for Eminem. And the songstress also singed in the monster hit I need a doctor. 
This is video is a big turn from the suicidal Invisible to the crazy plastic surgeon dr. Grey. But i like it! That bike, the surgery with chainsaw....and the results! :D You have to watch this!

Rumour has it that Skylar Grey after months of quiet is up to something. Her official site shared a post about a possible single, called Bicycle featuring Eminem. According to sources the single will come out soon, and it is a mid-tempo song with "nasty bass synth in it". It is more playful - said a DJ - than anything she's done before.
She didn't commented the rumours yet, but her site shared post...maybe this means something.

Már jó előre beharangozta az amerikai énekesnő soron következő duettjét, napjaink egy legfelkapottabb DJ-vel Kaskade-dal. A Room for Happiness című dalnak létezik egy Fire és egy Ice official remixe. Ez utóbbi egészen lassú, melankolikus, míg a másik verzió sokkal pörgősebb tempójú. De valójában teljesen mindegy melyik hallgatja az ember, mert Skylar Grey egyedi, senki máséval össze nem téveszthető hangja élvezetessé teszi mindkét verziót!

Skylar Grey két új videót töltött fel karácsony napján. Az egyik címe Coming Home pt II., persze az ismert refrén némi versezel. Sokkal jobb ez így és igazán meghatóra sikerült. Az énekesnő azt írta, ezt a dalt azoknak a katonáknak küldi, akik végre együtt lehetnek családjaikkal a szeretet ünnepén.
A második dal címe Words, amelyet eredetileg a nagypapájához írt, aki még azelőtt eltávozott az élők sorából, hogy elköszönhetett volna. "Szóval ma mondjátok meg valakinek, aki fontos nektek, hogy szeretitek őt!" Egyébként a refrén Lupe Fiasco Words i never said című dalában hallható.

Skylar Grey just posted two new songs on her youtube. First called Coming Home part II., which's refrain is already known, but there are verses. Skylar wrote, she sends this song to all of the soldiers who are finally home for Christmas. Another new Skylar song is Words, which was originally written to her grandfather, who passed away before she could say goodbye - she wrote. "Tell somebody you love them today." The refrain of this song is also audible in Lupe Fiasco's Words i never said.

Both songs was produced and written by Skylar herself. Love the pictures during the songs!

Skylar Grey a decemberi, év végi Music Connection címlapján díszeleg. Az énekesnő eléggé elfoglalt mostanság, egy csomó fellépése van, hiszen Bruno Mars turnéján vesz részt, itt az Öreg Kontinensen. Néhány újdonságot elárult magáról az interjúban. Például számomra egészen új infó, hogy Skylar írta T.I. és Christina Aguilera közös dalát a Castle Wallst - nem is tudtam! :O

Az is kiderül, hogy Skylar már a suliban is inkább a zenéjével foglalkozott, mint a tanulással, ezért is történhetett, hogy az amerikai történelem és irodalom elsajátítása kimaradt az énekes-zeneszerző életéből. De azt mondja: ha újra élhetné az életét, inkább többet tanulna.
Skylar ismertetőjegye a hangja, amely szinte minden zenei stílusban hátborzongatóan jól szól. Szerinte, azért használható a vokálja többféle stílusban is, mert nem próbál meg egy adott stílusban énekelni, hanem úgy énekel, ahogyan arra megteremtetett a torka.

Nem volt könnyű dolga az énekesnőnek, de miután úgy érezte, hogy sokadik próbálkozásra sincs sínen a karrierje, elvonult a világ elől egy erdei kuckóba Oregonban. Négy hónapnyi egyedüllét után, rájött, hogy nem úgy kell élnie az életét, ahogyan  mások akarják, hanem ahogyan neki jó. "Irányíthatom a saját életemet. Előtte nem is tudtam igazán, ez milyen érzés lehet."

Skylar-nek a középiskolában étkezés zavarai voltak, gimnasztikázott és mindig overállt kellett viselnie. S mivel be akarta bizonyítani, hogy képes kontroll alatt tartani a súlyát, csak hogy jól nézzen ki, elszaladt vele a ló. Mindenki észrevette csak ő nem, aztán egy napon felébredt és látta azt, amit mindenki más. Megküzdött vele, de az érzés mindig ott van a fejében. "Megtaláltam a módját, hogy megbirkózzam vele és egészséges maradjak."

 Manapság a csillogó dance számok uralják a popszakmát, de Skylar szerint az élet nem csak a szexről, kapcsolatokról és ivászatról szól. Persze van, aki ezt a zenét szereti. De az énekesnő szerint van egy csomó más téma, amiről beszélni kell.

A Love the way you lie-t 15 perc alatt írta meg, mert a jó dalok gyorsan születnek. Ha valami megmozgatja a fantáziáját elkezd írni, de nem úgy írja Skylar Grey a dalait, hogy leül dalt írni. Egyszerűen csak megtörténik, amíg megvan az inspiráció és képes szárnyallni vele a dalszerző, addig megy az írás. "De amikor összekeveredik minden a fejemben, a dal sz*r lesz és ki kell dobnom."
Kézzel írja dalait a Grammy díjas Skylar, de nem mindig van rá ideje, szóval van hogy a mobiljába jegyzi fel az ötleteket. Hiszen a telefonján van jegyzettömb, zeneszerző alkalmazás és a vokált is tudja rögzíteni.

Éppen készülőben van Skylar első önálló lemeze, Skylarként. A lemezkiadónak nem sok beleszólása volt az albumba, de az utolsó simításoknál (dalok kiválasztása) persze az ő véleményük is számított. De csak olyan dalokat mutatott meg Skylar, amik saját kedvencei. "Ha nem tetszik egy dal, nem játszom. Nem akarom, hogy megjegyezzék. És, mi van ha mindenkinek tetszik, de nekem nem?!"

A lemezen nemcsak Alex da Kidd dolgozott együtt Skylarrel, hanem Marilyn Manson is kivette a részét a mukából. A Can't  haunt me című dalban például ő is közrejátszik.

Skylar Grey covers the year ending december issue of Music Connection. The singer is very busy right now, she’s on tour in Europe with Bruno Mars. But she shared some unknown facts about her, and her album Invinsible. I didn’t know about her, that she wrote Castle Walls by T.I. and Christina. :O


Skylar wasn’t a good student, she didn’t learned enough history and american literature – as she told to MC magazine. She paid more attention for her music in high school, but if she could turn back time she would be a better student. Her voice hallmarks her, which sounds gruesome good in every genre. Just because she don’t tries to sing in a certain genre. She sings just like she born to sing. This is why her voice is useful in many genres.

It wasn’t easy to build her carreer, but after Skylar felt that after so many attempt her life isn’t on track she ran out of town in to the woods of Oregon. She stayed there for 4 months, and find it out what she wants to do with her life. After this isolation she realized, that she can control her own life. „It was a really empowring thing to realize that i could be in control my own life. I didn’t even known what that feel like before.” – she said.


Skylar had eating disorders when she was a high school kid, she was a gymnast, and had to wear leotard. She thought she wasn’t desirable as the other girls. The young Skylar didn’t realized that how thin she is. „It was a control thing, i wanted to prove that i could be in control of my weight.” It was a struggle to handle with it and the feeling never goes away – as she said, but she found ways to cope and keep herself healthy.


Shiny, dance tracks are trending in these days, but Skyalr thinks the life isn’t about just sex, relationships and drinking. Off course there are fans who loves this tracks, but there are audience for her songs too. In Skylars opinion: there are more topics to talk about not just the popular subjects.

She wrote Love the way you lie in 15 minutes, because she thinks good songs arises quickly. When something moves her, she starts to write, but when everything’s is a mess in her head she throws the song away. 


She’s making her first Skylar Grey album, but she shows just those songs to her record label which she preferes. If Skylar don’t likes a song, never plays to other people’s because she’s afraid of, it will get in their head and what if everyone loves a song but the songwriter – in this case Skylar Grey – don’t?! She writes her songs longhand, but it’s not always possible, so she got a high-tech cellphone with notepad, and composing and vocal recording application. So she can record a megahit wherever she is in the world.


There will be only one collaboration on her debut album, she recorded a song with Marilyn Manson. The song called Can’t haunt me and it’s about zombies.

Pontosan valami ilyesmire számítottam... Egy őrületes - szó szerint - nótához egy pszichopata videoklip, amelyben Skylar Grey egy gonosz dzsinnt játszik, akiknek varázslámpája gyakorlatilag a saját teste! LoL! Nagyon ott van! A dal, a Dance without you csillagos ötös és a klip is. Sikerült úgy megőriznie Skylar-nek a misztikumát, hogy közben többet ad magából, mint korábban.

The song Dance without you is awsome, "3 stars" and the video too! Skylar Grey kept her misery but she gave more from herself than ever before. 

Megjelent egy teaser video Skylar Grey első kislemezéhez a Dance Without You-hoz. A dalt korábban ingyen le lehetett tölteni Skylar hivatalos weboldaláról és azóta már Invincible című kislemezét is promózza, de mégis az első szóló dalból készül a klip. Amely július 5-én jelenik meg a vevo-n.





A teaser video was released of Skylar Grey's first solo video Dance Without You.The single was free downloadable from Skylar's official site, but she also began to promote her second single Invincible. Anyway the first solo video was made for Dance Without You, which will be released on 5th July via Vevo.

Kaptam ma egy mail-t a skylargreymusic.com-ról. Elindult Skylar Grey promotáló kampánya a fancorps.com-mal. A cél az, hogy minél többen csatlakozzatok Skylar közösségéhez és segítsetek neki promotálni a debütáló albumát és dalait. A legaktívabbak nyereményeket kapnak és persze friss infókat is megoszt Grey a zenéjével kapcsolatban.
Például, hogy ma debütál az első kislemez a Invinsible-ről Ryan Seacrest rádió műsorában.


Van még néhány infóm az albumról, melynek címe Invinsible lesz - ez arra utal, hogy Skylar éveken át kereste a helyét a zenéből és az útkeresés során láthatatlanból (invisible) legyőzhetetlenné (invincible) vált.
A lemezen lesz egy duett is, ám a titokzatos énekesnő azt még nem árulja el, hogy kivel fog együtt énekelni. Azt azonban tudni lehet, hogy az album dalai között a Dance without you és az Invisible mellett megtalálható lesz a Weirdo, Final Warning és a Building a Monster című dalok is. Ez utóbbi dal szól a láthatatlanból legyőzhetetlenné válásról. Skylar első live fellépése az augusztusi Lollapalooza fesztiválon, Chicago-ban lesz.

I received an e-mail this morning from Skylar Grey, that her fancorps community started. The purpose of the community is to promote Skylar's singles and debut album Invinsible. If you register you  you can earn prizes on the site, and will receive all the latest updates. Just like that her first single off the debut album Invisible will premiere today by Ryan Seacrest at Kiss FM. 

But i got some recent news about the album. Invinsible which is made from the words invisible and invincible, will be out this fall. The CD will contains besides Dance Without You and Invisible; Weirdo, Final Warning and Building Monster. The latter is about how to becomes Skylar from invisible to invincible! 

Skylars first live solo performance will be at the Lollapalooza in August (Grant Park, Chicago).

The first single Invisible is unfortunately unavaliable, but i will post to you ASAP.
