Az MTV Video Music Awards hagyományosan az év egyik legjobban várt zenei eseménye. Különösen igaz ez most, amikor a rohadt koronavírus miatt egy csomó koncert elmaradt. 

Az eseményt szeptember 12-én tartják, a helyszín pedig a Barclays Center lesz, New Yorkban. Eredetileg a Brooklyn aréna lett volna a helyszín, de a pandémia miatt át kellett helyezni, közölték a szervezők. Akik azt is hozzátették, hogy a hatóságokkal együtt dolgozva azon vannak, hogy mindenki biztonságban élvezhesse a gálát. 

Mivel a dátum a 9/11-et követő napra esett, várhatóan meg fognak emlékezni az Egyesült Államok tragikus napjáról is a rendezvényen. 

Az űrhajós formájú ikonikus szobrocskát kicsit megreformálták erre az évre, mert növények futnak végig rajta, ezzel is a diverzitást jelképezve. Érdekesség, hogy az asztronauta 1984. óta a VMA állandó szereplője, ekkor volt ugyanis az első díjátadó.

A minap azt is bejelentették, hogy a gála házigazdája ezúttal a fellépőként is tündöklő Doja Cat lesz. Egyébként a fellépők névsora is ismert már, ahogyan még szavazni is lehet a jelöltekre. Alább találsz linket és pontos listát róluk. 

Megjegyezném, hogy az est nagy nyertese Doja Cat lehet, de több kategóriában jelölt Olivia Rodrigo és Mega thee Stallion és Cardi B párosa. Számomra ismerős régi nagy nevet csak az RnB kategóriát böngészve találtam, hiszen itt szerepel Beyoncé a Brown skined girl-lel. Na meg a legjobb pop kategóriában ott van Miley Cyrus is, aki mára már szinte öregnek számít. Számomra érdekes újdonságként hatott, hogy van legjobb K-Pop kategória is. Idáig jutott a világ, hogy a koreai rágógumi pop begyűrűzött a világ egyik legismertebb díjátadójára is. Érdekes.... Ahhoz képest hogy 10 éve még rnb-re toltuk, ma már azt alig említik. Na mindegy, azért szeretek pár dalt a k-popból, tervezek is majd egy posztot erről a témáról. 

A legjobb latin zene kategóriában még felbukkant nekünk a Black Eyed Peas és Shakira és képzeljétek a rock kategóriában ott van a kétezres évek elejének nagy kedvence az Evanescence is. Le vagyok maradva, hogy ők újra zenélnek... 

Egy biztos, a Foo Fighters nem fog üres kézzel távozni, mivel ők vehetik az MTV Global Icon díját az idei átadón. 

A fellépők listájától nem estem hanyatt, Doja Cat mellett szerepelni fog, Shawn Mendes és Camilla Cabello, Chloe, Lil Nas, Lorde, Olivia Rodrigo, a 21 Pilots és Machine Gun Kelly.... 

MTV Video Music Awards is one of the most wanted music events of every year. Of course it is true in 2021 when we missed a lot of concerts and festivals due to pandemic.

The VMA will be held on 12th September in New York City, Barcalays Center. MTV said originally they wanted the show to be placed in Brooklyn Arena, but they had to move it due to pandemic. The channel stated, they work together with state officials to maximize security for those who attend the award show.

They will remember 9/11 cause of the date is one day later. And we know that iconic moonman was reimagined for this years ceremony. Fun fact, the award is shaped as a mooman since 1984. This was the year when the history of MTV Video Music Awards began.

MTV announced yesterday the host of the night will be Doja Cat, who also performs on 12th September. Alongside with Camilla Cabello, Shawn Mendes, 21 pilots, Olivia Rodrigo, Chloe, Lil Nas, Lorde and Machine Gun Kelly.

Foo Fighters will be there too, because MTV gives the Global Icon Award to the band.

Justin Timberlake új albumon dolgozik, amelyről a többszörös Grammy és Emmy díjas zenész és színész Jimmy Fallon talk showjában beszélt a minap. 

Tudjátok, hogy a kétezres évek elejének zenéje nagy kedvencem a deep house és future house számokon kívül. Úgyhogy én hiányolom a jó öreg Justin számokat, amikor még minden más volt. Mert ugye régen minden jó volt! Voltak nyitva éttermek, kávézók és még koncerteket is tartottak.... Na jó, hagyjuk a siránkozást, beszéljünk Justinről. 

A beszélgetésből kiderült, hogy Justin a napokban ünnepli 40-ik születésnapját!!! (Ki hitte volna, még emlékszem a spagettihajú hülyegyerekre a kilencvenes évekből...) Amúgy Jimmy is megjegyezte, hogy nem tűnik Justin negyvennek. Szerintem sem. :) Ráadásul nemrégiben napvilágot látott második gyermeke Jessica Biellel.

Fallon felhozta a beszélgetés közben, hogy JT megosztott az instáján egy képet Timbalanddel munka közben. Erre a zenész megerősítette, hogy egy új albumon dolgozik. "Folyamatosan dolgozom valamin a stúdióban" - mondta. - "Pár dallamot már le is játszottam neked, mondjuk el nyugodtan" - tette hozzá, utalva arra, hogy Jimmy Falonnal jó barátok már egy ideje. A showman elárulta, hogy nagyon jók a dalok és nem is érti, hogyan bírja ki a zenész, hogy nem osztja meg az új számokat azonnal. JT elárulta, hogy habár már kb mindenkivel dolgozott együtt aki valamit is számít a zenei világban, de még Kendrick, Travis Scott hiányzik a listáról.

Hát én nagyon várom, mi fog kisülni ebből az új albumból. Addig is itt egy friss fellépés, az új amerikai elnök beiktatásának műsorából. 

Justin Timberlake is working on a new album, the musician confirmed that on the latest episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. 

You know that im a fan of the early 00's and really miss some good old JT music. So i was thrilled to

hear that he is working on something new. Jimmy mentioned that Justin posted a photo of him and Timbaland on his instagram. And he just confirmed that he's been in and out of the studio. Fallon also asked him about his dream collabs, because the former N Sync member already worked with almost everyone in the music industry. Justin told Kendrick and Travis Scott are missing from his list. 

I am very curious about this new record, because he gives me this nostalgic feeling everytime i see his face or hear his voice. Those days were way much better, you know restaurants were open, and cafés too, and also there were some concerts, music festivals. Nowadays.... Let's not even talk about it. 

Justin Timberlake will be 40 years old tomorrow. Can you imagine? Spaghetti haired Justin from N Sync is already 40?! Yes, you are old, and me too.. 

I think Calvin Harris, thought big and did great. What i heard from his new album, this will be a great summer album. The first single with official video is Feels, featuring Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, and Big Sean.

The visuals are dreamy, but catchy. Just like the single. Can't stop play, this baggy, sunny tune.
The single will be on Calvin Harris' upcoming album on 30rd June, titled as Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1. He previously released "Slide" with Frank Ocean and Migos, "Heatstroke" with Pharrell, Young Thug and Ariana Grande and "Rollin" with Future and Khalid. The LP will also feature Schoolboy Q, D.R.A.M., Travis Scott, John Legend, Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj, Lil Yachty and more.

Oh, do you remember the songs of this album..... seems like yesterday. The songs are bringing back my younghood XD Chocolate wasn't that much succesful, but one of my all time favorite singles! In Australia was failed to reach the top ten, in the UK it became top ten hit, it also charted in Hungary and Italy.

Let's talk about the video! Was directed by Dawn Shadforth and made as a tribute to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer musicals. The idea of choreography belongs to Michael Rooney.
