Az MTV Video Music Awards hagyományosan az év egyik legjobban várt zenei eseménye. Különösen igaz ez most, amikor a rohadt koronavírus miatt egy csomó koncert elmaradt. 

Az eseményt szeptember 12-én tartják, a helyszín pedig a Barclays Center lesz, New Yorkban. Eredetileg a Brooklyn aréna lett volna a helyszín, de a pandémia miatt át kellett helyezni, közölték a szervezők. Akik azt is hozzátették, hogy a hatóságokkal együtt dolgozva azon vannak, hogy mindenki biztonságban élvezhesse a gálát. 

Mivel a dátum a 9/11-et követő napra esett, várhatóan meg fognak emlékezni az Egyesült Államok tragikus napjáról is a rendezvényen. 

Az űrhajós formájú ikonikus szobrocskát kicsit megreformálták erre az évre, mert növények futnak végig rajta, ezzel is a diverzitást jelképezve. Érdekesség, hogy az asztronauta 1984. óta a VMA állandó szereplője, ekkor volt ugyanis az első díjátadó.

A minap azt is bejelentették, hogy a gála házigazdája ezúttal a fellépőként is tündöklő Doja Cat lesz. Egyébként a fellépők névsora is ismert már, ahogyan még szavazni is lehet a jelöltekre. Alább találsz linket és pontos listát róluk. 

Megjegyezném, hogy az est nagy nyertese Doja Cat lehet, de több kategóriában jelölt Olivia Rodrigo és Mega thee Stallion és Cardi B párosa. Számomra ismerős régi nagy nevet csak az RnB kategóriát böngészve találtam, hiszen itt szerepel Beyoncé a Brown skined girl-lel. Na meg a legjobb pop kategóriában ott van Miley Cyrus is, aki mára már szinte öregnek számít. Számomra érdekes újdonságként hatott, hogy van legjobb K-Pop kategória is. Idáig jutott a világ, hogy a koreai rágógumi pop begyűrűzött a világ egyik legismertebb díjátadójára is. Érdekes.... Ahhoz képest hogy 10 éve még rnb-re toltuk, ma már azt alig említik. Na mindegy, azért szeretek pár dalt a k-popból, tervezek is majd egy posztot erről a témáról. 

A legjobb latin zene kategóriában még felbukkant nekünk a Black Eyed Peas és Shakira és képzeljétek a rock kategóriában ott van a kétezres évek elejének nagy kedvence az Evanescence is. Le vagyok maradva, hogy ők újra zenélnek... 

Egy biztos, a Foo Fighters nem fog üres kézzel távozni, mivel ők vehetik az MTV Global Icon díját az idei átadón. 

A fellépők listájától nem estem hanyatt, Doja Cat mellett szerepelni fog, Shawn Mendes és Camilla Cabello, Chloe, Lil Nas, Lorde, Olivia Rodrigo, a 21 Pilots és Machine Gun Kelly.... 

MTV Video Music Awards is one of the most wanted music events of every year. Of course it is true in 2021 when we missed a lot of concerts and festivals due to pandemic.

The VMA will be held on 12th September in New York City, Barcalays Center. MTV said originally they wanted the show to be placed in Brooklyn Arena, but they had to move it due to pandemic. The channel stated, they work together with state officials to maximize security for those who attend the award show.

They will remember 9/11 cause of the date is one day later. And we know that iconic moonman was reimagined for this years ceremony. Fun fact, the award is shaped as a mooman since 1984. This was the year when the history of MTV Video Music Awards began.

MTV announced yesterday the host of the night will be Doja Cat, who also performs on 12th September. Alongside with Camilla Cabello, Shawn Mendes, 21 pilots, Olivia Rodrigo, Chloe, Lil Nas, Lorde and Machine Gun Kelly.

Foo Fighters will be there too, because MTV gives the Global Icon Award to the band.

Az idei MTV Video Music Awardst tisztelgés volt Britney Spears művészete előtt, aki egyébként a legjobb pop videóért járó űrhajós szobrocskát is hazavihette, emellett hazavihette a Michael Jackson Vanguard Video award-ot is, amelyet maga Lady Gaga, akarom mondani Jo Calderone adott át a pop hercegnőnek. Egy röpke pillanatig szemeztek egymással, és a közönség nagyon várta, hogy elcsattanjon egy csók. De hát a két énekesnő meggondolta magát.
Lady Gaga egyébként a legjobb női, a legjobb üzenettel ellátott videó díját is hazavihette. És nem kis megtiszteltetés érte azzal, hogy ő nyitotta meg az idei VMA-t Los Angeles-ben. A legjobb új elődadónak járó díjat Tyler the Creator nyerte, a legjobb duettért Katy Perry és Kanye West kapott egy szobrocskát. Ez volt Katy VMA-s debütálása és ő azt hitte Kanye-nak is ez az első VMA-je. Erre a színpadon állva megszólalt az MC: "Nem, nekem már van több is!" Az E.T.-ért egyébként a legjobb vizuális effektnek járó díjat is megkapta Katy Perry.
Az est másik nagy győztese Adele volt, aki a Rolling in the Deep videóért megkapta a legjobb művészi rendezésnek járó trófeát, és a legjobb filmezésért és vágásért is Adele vihette el az űrhajós szobrocskákat.
Rock videó kategóriájában a Foo Fighters diadalmaskodott, míg rap kategóriában Nicki Minaj utasította maga mögé a mezőnyt. Koreográfiák tekintetében ki más, mint a frissen terhességét bejelentett Beyoncé vitte a pálmát. Az év videója a hazánkban forgatott Fireworks lett, amelyért Katy Perry vihette haza a díjat.
Az est egyik legnevetségesebb mozzanata az volt, mikor Justin Bieber megnyerte a legjobb férfi előadó díját. Hogy, és miért, vagy hogyan?? Jó persze tudom, ezen a voksoláson a rajongók döntenek. Na, de akkor is! Nincsen szemük?! És fülük?!

Gaga egyébként a gálán tanúbizonyságot tett színészi képességeiről és arról, hogy akár egy stand up comedy-ben is megállná a helyét. Jo azt adta elő, hogy őt bizony elhagyta Lady Gaga. Ami annyira nem is nagy baj, hiszen állandóan magassarkúban mászkált, még a fürdőbe is!!!! És a haja, ami eleinte szexi volt, az a végére már összezavarta szegéby Jo-t. És Gaga azt mondta neki: "Te és én...ez csak egy próba volt!" Ekkor pattant a zongorához mr. Calderone és nyomta el cigijét annak tetején és kezdett bele a You and I taktusaiba.

Another awsome performer was added to VMA's list. Linkin Park will also perform at the MTV gala. They will play Catalyst, the new song from Thousand suns!

Thank you, MTV!"

The show will be airedon September 12 at 9pm EST.

Úgy gondoltam, nem nagyon kommentálom a VMA-t és az ott történt botrányt, úgyis mindenki azzal foglalkozik. Véleményem van -e? Naná, nem tudom mit kell pátyolgatni azt a nyamvadék Taylor Swift-et! Kanye-nek igaza volt, mondjuk nem így kellett volna kinyilvánítani. De a szervezők nem tehetnek róla, hogy ez a country liba nyerte a legjobb videó díját, mivel a rajongók szavazata volt a döntő. Na ennyit a VMA-ről vagyis nem még megemlítenék egy orbitálisan jó performanszot, amelyet Jay-Z-vel követett el Alicia Keys. Az Empire state of mind című dalt adta elő az RnB csillag és a rapsztár, ami igazán ütősre sikeredett. Nemcsak a produceri munka kimagasló, de az is szót érdemel, hogy Jay-Z meg Alicia remek páros együtt.
