Húsz évvel ezelőtt augusztus 25-én a világ szegényebb egy nagyszerű zenésszel és emberrel. Ezen a napon hunyt el ugyanis az akkor mindössze 22 éves Aaliyah, akinek zenei hatását ma is érezhetjük. Missy Elliot a szomorú évforduló kapcsán azt tweetelte, hogy számára nagyszerű azt látni, hogy új generációk fedezik fel maguknak az énekesnő munkásságát. 



Az MTV Video Music Awards hagyományosan az év egyik legjobban várt zenei eseménye. Különösen igaz ez most, amikor a rohadt koronavírus miatt egy csomó koncert elmaradt. 

Az eseményt szeptember 12-én tartják, a helyszín pedig a Barclays Center lesz, New Yorkban. Eredetileg a Brooklyn aréna lett volna a helyszín, de a pandémia miatt át kellett helyezni, közölték a szervezők. Akik azt is hozzátették, hogy a hatóságokkal együtt dolgozva azon vannak, hogy mindenki biztonságban élvezhesse a gálát. 

Mivel a dátum a 9/11-et követő napra esett, várhatóan meg fognak emlékezni az Egyesült Államok tragikus napjáról is a rendezvényen. 

Az űrhajós formájú ikonikus szobrocskát kicsit megreformálták erre az évre, mert növények futnak végig rajta, ezzel is a diverzitást jelképezve. Érdekesség, hogy az asztronauta 1984. óta a VMA állandó szereplője, ekkor volt ugyanis az első díjátadó.

A minap azt is bejelentették, hogy a gála házigazdája ezúttal a fellépőként is tündöklő Doja Cat lesz. Egyébként a fellépők névsora is ismert már, ahogyan még szavazni is lehet a jelöltekre. Alább találsz linket és pontos listát róluk. 

Megjegyezném, hogy az est nagy nyertese Doja Cat lehet, de több kategóriában jelölt Olivia Rodrigo és Mega thee Stallion és Cardi B párosa. Számomra ismerős régi nagy nevet csak az RnB kategóriát böngészve találtam, hiszen itt szerepel Beyoncé a Brown skined girl-lel. Na meg a legjobb pop kategóriában ott van Miley Cyrus is, aki mára már szinte öregnek számít. Számomra érdekes újdonságként hatott, hogy van legjobb K-Pop kategória is. Idáig jutott a világ, hogy a koreai rágógumi pop begyűrűzött a világ egyik legismertebb díjátadójára is. Érdekes.... Ahhoz képest hogy 10 éve még rnb-re toltuk, ma már azt alig említik. Na mindegy, azért szeretek pár dalt a k-popból, tervezek is majd egy posztot erről a témáról. 
A legjobb latin zene kategóriában még felbukkant nekünk a Black Eyed Peas és Shakira és képzeljétek a rock kategóriában ott van a kétezres évek elejének nagy kedvence az Evanescence is. Le vagyok maradva, hogy ők újra zenélnek... 
Egy biztos, a Foo Fighters nem fog üres kézzel távozni, mivel ők vehetik az MTV Global Icon díját az idei átadón. 
A fellépők listájától nem estem hanyatt, Doja Cat mellett szerepelni fog, Shawn Mendes és Camilla Cabello, Chloe, Lil Nas, Lorde, Olivia Rodrigo, a 21 Pilots és Machine Gun Kelly.... 

MTV Video Music Awards is one of the most wanted music events of every year. Of course it is true in 2021 when we missed a lot of concerts and festivals due to pandemic.

The VMA will be held on 12th September in New York City, Barcalays Center. MTV said originally they wanted the show to be placed in Brooklyn Arena, but they had to move it due to pandemic. The channel stated, they work together with state officials to maximize security for those who attend the award show.

They will remember 9/11 cause of the date is one day later. And we know that iconic moonman was reimagined for this years ceremony. Fun fact, the award is shaped as a mooman since 1984. This was the year when the history of MTV Video Music Awards began.


MTV announced yesterday the host of the night will be Doja Cat, who also performs on 12th September. Alongside with Camilla Cabello, Shawn Mendes, 21 pilots, Olivia Rodrigo, Chloe, Lil Nas, Lorde and Machine Gun Kelly.

Foo Fighters will be there too, because MTV gives the Global Icon Award to the band.

Három nap múlva új albummal jelentkezik a kétezres évek egyik legkedveltebb rappere Nelly. Meg is érkezett a második dala a Heartland címet viselő korongról. 
Breland és Blanco közreműködésével vették fel a High Horse című nótát, amellyel már be is mutatkozott a hármasfogat a Jimmy Kimmel Live-ban.

         

Nelly a dalról azt mondta "A jó zene össszehozza a jó embereket....Amikor a dal rögzítése után másnap felébredtem azt gondoltam, na összehoztunk tegnap valami nagyszerűt! Miután az elmúlt év mindenkinek kemény volt, remélem, hogy a High Horse a hip hop és country rajongóknak ad egy okot, hogy újra együtt bulizzunk." 

A rapper legnagyobb sikerű lemeze annak idején a Country Grammar volt, amelynek húsz éves évfordulóját ünnepelte tavaly tavasszal. A 2000-es megjelenés óta egy LP-je volt még, az M.O. 

Az új zenei anyagról azt tudhatjuk már, hogy erősen áthatja a country zene, amely a közreműködő előadók listáján is látszik. A korong megjelent dalai már megvásárolhatóak, de a teljes anyag 27-én jelenik meg a Columbia gondozásában. 

Alább láthattok még egy videót, amelyben a rapper a Good Morning Americában lép fel a Lil Bit című számával, mely szintén megtalálható lesz az új korongon. Ezzel a track-kel egyébként platina minősítést ért el. Bővebben⬇

In three days will debut the new EP of midwest rapper Nelly. Heartland is a country influenced record, feautres numerous stars of the genre. Nelly's biggest record was Country Grammar, since then he released LP M.O. and now Heartland. 

He was one of the most played rappers of the 00's and celebrated 20th anniversary of CG last fall performing a medley of his old tracks at AMA 2020. 

High Horse is the second track of the record and he collaborated on it with Breland and Blanco. He told about the song: " Good music brings all types of people together and this track, ....When I woke up the next morning after recording it, I thought “wow we did something really wild last night!’ After a tough year for everyone, I hope ‘High Horse’ brings hip hop fans and country fans together to celebrate us all being together again!”

The rapper performed the song last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, you can watch the performance above.

In the past days i talked to a friend about how few good urban songs coming out these days. And see miracle, here is Macklemore's new tune. Glorious feautring the super-talented Skylar Grey, who i adore the most of all new female artists. Though she is not that new, you can read about her by clicking here!

So about the new tune:as you already know, the chorus is singed by Skylar, was produced by Josh "Budo" Karp with help from Tyler Dopps. Glorius is the forerunner of Macklemore's upcoming solo album. Yes, as you read, without Ryan Lewis.
The project is yet untitled, but this is his first solo album since 2005, when The Language of my world was released, in 2012 he dropped the Heist with Ryan Lewis, followed by This Unruly Mess I've Made in 2016.

Ne-Yo got some super exciting news to his fans. He announced that sixth studio album Non-Fiction will be released on 25th January in 2015. After a few delay, he stated the release date, and the basic genre of the record. He told recently, Non-Fiction will be a great R&B record with such great songs like She knows, and Money can't buy and Run.

Ne-Yo némi remek hírt tartogatott nekünk a hétvégére. Hosszas várakozás, és többszöri időpont tologatás után végre kiadja új hatodik lemezét. A Non-Fiction névre hallgató zenei anyag január 25-től lesz elérhető a zeneáruházakban és még létező cd boltokban. Az énekes olyan már közkedveltté vált dalokat vett fel a lemezre, mint a She knows vagy a Money Can't buy, és a Run.


You know: i really adore good, hot urban music. So i was so excited after the AMA's. I watched the whole show and noticed Lil Wayne's and Christina Milian's performance. That song is banging!
There were rumours about this two dating, now they confirmed it. Start the fire is a hot urban music - will be on Weezy's Tha Carter V (release date: dec. 9.)- he raps about: he's "in love with a hot girl, and they don't get it". And also drops some hints about their busy sex life. Lol!

 In 2012 Christina signed to Young Money and then announced the new album. We are still waiting for that! The AMA performance with Lil Wayne was her first ever live award show performance - she confirmed to E! earlier the show. The songstress made a deal with E!, and her own reality show titled as Christina Milian turned up will hit the screens in early 2015.
The network recently stated that the show follows singer and actress Christina Milian's career, love life, and her relationship with her Cuban-American family: her overprotective mother/manager Carmen, her two feisty and outspoken sisters Danielle and Liz, and her adorable daughter Violet.

Hm..well maybe it will be interesting, but i am more curious about that new music. I hope we'll hear a lot more about her in the near future, and i mean musically! 


Tudjátok, hogy a jó kis urban zenénél kevés dolgot szeretek jobban. Úgyhogy, miután megnéztem az idei American Music Awars gálát, tisztára izgatott lettem. Annyi jó zenét hallottam ott. Itt van máris példának okáért Christina Milian és Lil Wayne közös száma. A Start the Fire (gyújtsunk tüzet) című nótával a páros gyakorlatilag beismeri a hetek óta burjánzó pletykákat, vagyis hogy ők egy pár. Hiszen Wayne a számban arról szövegel, hogy "szerelmes egy dögös csajba, de ők nem értik." Meg néhány infót arról is elejt, hogy mennyire mozgalmas kettejük nemi élete, na meg hogy naphosszat csak szexelnek. Nem lehet ezeket a sorokat, nem félreérteni. ;-) A dal Weezy december 9-én megjelenő Tha Carter V. című nagylemezén lesz hallható.

Mindeközben Christina sem tétlenkedik, hiszen 2012. óta már a Lil Wayne vezette Young Money-nél dalolászik, és a rapmogullal közösen készítik el új - nagyonnagyonnagyon - régóta várt lemezét. Az énekesnő ezen túl számos tévés felkérésnek tesz eleget. Szerepelt a The Voicban, megmutatta tánctudását a Dancing with the Starsban és éppen készülőben van első realityje. A Christina Milian Turned Up vagyis Christina Milian előlép 2015. első felében érkezik az amerikai tévék képernyőire. A műsor végül is egy dokumentum sorozat, legalábbis ezt adta ki róla a gyártó E!Networks. A közleményben azt írják, hogy az epizódokból kiderül majd, hogy Miliannek milyen rohadt nehéz egyensúlyt találni a munka, a család és a szerelmi élet között. Főszerepben persze a tehetséges énekesnő lesz, no meg menedzsere és anyukája Carmen, és két lánytestvére Danielle, no meg Liz. Persze nincs tévéműsor cuki gyerekszereplő nélkül, úgyhogy a nézők számíthatnak rá, hogy Christina kislánya Violet is gyakran felbukkan majd.




Nagyon sok reményt fűztem ehhez a lányhoz amikor megjelent a Booty Bangs Young Joc-kal. Aztán nagyjából full eltűnt a színről Jessi Malay. Felvett több dalocskát is, de nagyon erőltette ezt a diszkós, denszes dolgot és szerintem nagyon nem állt jól neki.
Most megjelent ez az új dala, amely az Edge címet viseli. Van benne spiritusz, hogy úgy mondjam. Jessi egy blognak adott interjújában azt mondta: a dal akusztikus változatával többször fellépett élőben amikor a Danity Kane-nel turnézott és a rajongók nagyon szerették a dalt, ezért is készült hozzá klip. Az Edge amúgy Jessi Give me life című debütáló EP-ről származik. A zenei anyagot már régóta várták az énekesnő rajongói, amelyen egyébként az Edge mellett van pár jó szám. Például a Bougie trap mixe.
Már nem tudom hogyan találtam rá Jessi Malay dalaira, de annak idején posztoltam nektek a Booty Bangset is. Ide kattintva nosztalgiázhattok!

This girl was so promising, i loved her debut song Booty Bangs back in 2007 featuring Young Joc. But after then she released few songs, and tried to be cool with this mainstream pop-electro thing and i was so not impressed. Just until now! Jessi Malay debuted two days ago her latest music video for Edge. The song was so popular with the fans during her tour alongside Danity Kane, that she decided to shot a video for it. Jessi wanted to say thank you to her fans with this video for their support.

 And here is the results. I say, there's zing in it! I really love it, Edge is a bit urbanisch..... and i don't know, love the beat and the bass it's so deeep! Cool song.

Have i already told you how freakin' happy i am about J.Lo's re-evolution, i mean she's back to her roots. Jenny did a monster urban duet with Fat Joe (the NY rapper already recorded hit duet Hold you down, Feeling so good) titled as Stressin.

The Rico Love produced trakc is pretty catchy and brings Jenny from the Block to us again. Thank God! I mean, i loved her latino tempered pop songs, like Papi and On the floor, but we gotta admit, that this J.Lo who sings Stressin and Same Girl, this is who exposed the biz' with If you had my love.


Let me show you some hot vibes of the summer in this post. Can't get it out of my head Danity Kane's comback single Lemonade. It is a little bit like DC's Soldier, i mean the melody, but it's pretty cool.



Remember Nina Sky? They burst into the biz' with hit single Move ya body in 2004. The girls tried another style, but it seems like Nina Sky is back to their roots. New single Stoners sounds more urban than any other single from the duo. The sisters changed a lot, but their music is still hot, oh and Nicole shaved her head. It's badass! Check out Stoners!

  

Disney's sweetheart Ariana Grande teamed up with british pop sensation Jessie J and Nicki Minaj. The gals recorded Bang Bang which is the first single of Jessie J's new album due out later this year. The new record's title is still unknown but Jessie told that this album will represent how much she've learned and where she found her feet - musically. She told Capital FM that the new album is a big change and it is really about who she is. Bang Bang is real good start for the third album Jessie! :)




I can describe how much i love Iggy Azalea's new single featuring Rita Ora. Black Widow is a really catchy hip-hop, urban song. The lyrics are great, honest, plain-spoken and well written. Rita Ora's voice vibrates in the chorus and Iggy does her best while rapping in the verse. The music is huuuuuge, i mean: ...f**king cool! Take a listen!


I really waited for a new song from this guy. The best version of Toto's Africa was Karl Wolf's. This was the first time i heard of him. Right now he is preparing to release a new video for latest single Magic Hotel featuring Timbaland.


Már régóta vártam, hogy mivel rukkol elő ez a fiú. Karl Wolffal az első találkozásom a Toto által ismertté vált Africa című szám újraértelmezése volt. Most pedig a mogul, Timbalanddel dugta össze a fejét egy dal erejéig. A videó is készül a Magic Hotel című új számhoz.


Looks like Gran Hustle boss T.I. is right now a do-gooder for every lost or slipped musician/celebs. The Atlanta based rapper is working with Justin Bieber. The former teen star, who is mostly known at the time about his scandolous behavior posted a picture about him and Tip at the studio.
What on earth happened to him? 





Tip recently rapped for Britney Spears on the new record Britney Jean. They did together Tik tik boom. Which is a light pop song, not so Tipycal....

 Cher Lloyd also asked him for a song. They released I wish together, also shot video for it. This collaboration was okay, but Cher did not reached the expected fame in the US with I wish.

T.I. collaborated with several artists on at least 51 songs. I simply like him, he got a real charm and unquestionable talent.


 


He also recorded a song with the Gran Hustle experienced rapper Iggy Azalea, this one was good, but not good enough. He appaered on Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines with Pharrell Williams, which was a good choice. The song became a real massive hit. I just found another masterpiece which is hallmarked with Tip's and Lil Wayne's name. GOsh, i don't know how did i not noticed this "duet" earlier. Both rapper are my favs.





Úgy tűnik T.I. a lecsúszott és eltűnt hírességek jótevője lett. Legutóbb Justin Bieber postolt egy fotót a raperrel a twitteren, ugyanis a két híresség együtt dolgozik a stúdióban. Kíváncsi vagyok Biebs' miben ügyködik, hiszen manapság csak a botrányairól lehet hallani. 
Tip mostanság elég sok duettet vett fel, ott van a Tik tik Boom Britney Spearsszel. Ami azért oké volt. Iggy Azalea, aki Tip felfedezettje a Change your life című számot vette fel a mogullal közösen. T.I. a brit üdvöskével Cher Lloyddal is dolgozott közösen az I wish című dal erejéig. Cher ettől a daltól várta, hogy majd betör az amerikai zenei piacra, hát szerintem nem igen jött össze. Persze ez nem T.I. hibája. 

Jó duetteket is fel tudunk sorakoztatni, kicsit régebben adta ki Justin Timberlake-kel a Dead and Gonet, ami nagy siker volt. Azóta megjelent a Blurred lines, amelyben Pharrell Williamsszel és Robin Thicke-kel. Az azért elég nagy siker volt, tekintve, hogy minden rádióadó nyomatta. A másik említésre méltó duett Lil Waynenel, amit én csak most fedeztem fel. Gyalázat, hiszen a két rapper igen jót nyomott a Wit me címűben. 

Az atlantai rapper közel 51 olyan dalt sorolhat be diszkográfiájába, amelyekben közreműködőként vett részt. Ezek többsége a Billboard hot 100 listáján is szerepelt.


As i posted earlier Ashanti released new music with rapmonster Rick Ross. Titled as I got it. The single has very heavy beats, got a catchy sound. Rick Ross' rap is perfect opposite of Ashanti's soft vocals. Great song! Great vid.

Ahogyan azt korábban beharangoztuk megérkezett Ashanti és Rick Ross közös számához, az I got ithoz a hivatalos klip. A zene klassz: vannak nehéz basszusok, kellemes dallam, ami fülbemászó. Rick Ross kemény rapbetéte a teljes ellentéte Ashanti lágy vokáljainak. Jó kis nóta lett. Jó a videó is.




Feminism hymn Flawless is one of my favorite singles of Beyoncé's latest album. I wake up..um, no i don't want to say flawless, but hey....things happens! XD So, i wake up and can't get this song out of my head.

 I am so grateful for her comeback and she - as she sang Yoncé - "go slow", and also fierce as usual.

A feminista himnusznak is beillő Flawless az egyik legerősebb dal Beyoncé ugyanezt a nevet viselő lemezéről. Ez az a dal, ami reggel óta nem megy ki a fejemből, merthogy én is "hibátlanul ébredtem". XD

A lemezről egyébként csak úgy süt a magabiztosság, a dalok eléggé szókimondóak és őszinték, ahogyan ez a Flawless című számnál is igaz. Már a verse első soraiban arról énekel a díva: tudom, hogy amikor kislány voltál arról álmodtál, hogy az én helyemben legyél, ezt tiszteld, hajoljatok meg r*bancok!"

És, hogy miért nevezem én ezt feminista himnusznak? Nos van benne egy részlet Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie nigériai írónő, feminista élharcos korábbi beszédéből. Kb. így hangzik:

Wynter Gordon is one of those artists who were born with inherent talent, but never achieved enough recognition. Despite the fact, that she is well known in the music industry. It is such a shame that Wynter Gordon stayed in the shadows for years! 

The only 29 years old artist began her carreer as a songwriter. She wrote songs for Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Lopez and Ciara too. Her first appearence as a singer was FloRida's Suga. But you may already listened Toyfriend with David Gutta, Dirty Talk, and my favorite Wynter single Love is long. 

She released two EPs, but neither of them reached too much attention. I listened the newest of them Human Condition Doleo. Every single has a unique mood, i can't stay Human Condition Doleo is a sad record. The whole EP swung around with galactic mysticism. It obtains various feelings as you are listening to the songs. The songs are midtempo, few sort of ballads but none electric disco tune - Thank God! Wynter Gordon remain the same, she got her good-old urban style. But as i listened No Hush i feeled some hawaian spirit in the song. In my opinion the best songs of the record are Don't waste your time, Nervous and Stimela.

Miss Gordon plays with her voice just like a "pawky-witch", Human Condition Doleo is such an intoxicating potion!


Nem, ő neki semmi köze Bajnai Gordonhoz! :) Wynter Gordon, egyike azoknak a született tehetségeknek,
akik habár a zenész világban nagy elismertséget tudhatnak magukénak, mégis rövid ragyogás és rivalda után, csak az árnyék jut nekik. A mindössze 29 éves énekesnő, elég komoly lajstromot "muzsikált" össze az elmúlt 10 év során. Eleinte dalszerzőként bontogatta szárnyait, olyan sztároknak írt dalokat, mint Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Lopez vagy Ciara. Például Wynter jegyzi a J.Lo-féle What is love? című kedvenc dalomat!
Az első énekesnői megjelenése FloRida Suga című számában volt, meg volt a Dirty Talk is, és a Guetta-féle Toyfriend, meg az én nagy kedvencem Wynter Gordontól: Love is long.

Azóta kiadott két kisebb lemezt, inkább kiadványt. Ezek közül az újabbat a Human Conditiont hallgattam meg. Ami megragadott, az a dalok egyedi hangulata. Nem mondanám, hogy szomorúak, vagy komorak a Human Condition számok, inkább úgy fogalmaznék, valami galaktikus rejtelmesség lengi körül az egész zenei anyagot. Vegyes érzelmeket kelt az emberben, ha végighallgatja az anyagot. Általában középtempójú, vagy egészen ballada-szerű dalokat kapunk Gordon kisasszonytól. Megmarad az urban stílusnál, bár No Hush című dalnál kicsit tábortűzkörül-fűszoknyában-kántálós hangulata támadhat az embernek. Ez az egyik, ami nekem bejön, a másik a Don't waste your time, és a Nervous amiben Travis Scott is közreműködött.

Wynter szerintem túl tehetséges zenész és énekesnő ahhoz, hogy így háttérben maradjon. Azontúl, hogy kiváló dalokat ír, megmaradt az eredeti stílusánál és remek énekhangja van, amivel nem fél kísérletezni.

Ashanti megerősítette, hogy új videója jelenik meg. A klip az I got it című r&b dalhoz készül, melyben a Maybach Music feje Rick Ross rapper is közreműködik. Ez Ashanti legújabb kislemeze a Braveheart nevű albumról.


Jason Derulo told that he will release another video from Tattoos. It called Stupid love. Let's see what he already showed us from his latest albums.

 Right now he unveiled four singles off the record: Marry me, Trumpets, the Other Side and Talk dirty.






And here it comes the next video added single Stupid love. I think this is also a very catchy song. A midtempo, light urban melody. Kinda like it!

A Stupid Love is egy fülbemászó nóta, kicsit lájtos urban érzésű dal, ami ugyancsak a középtempót követi és nem szakad el a Tattoos többi dalának könnyen emészthetőségétől sem.
