I became a real fan of Coldplay

Sokáig nem törődtem a Coldplay-jel, na persze azzal tisztában voltam, hogy nélkülük nem lenne a When love takes over sem. Aztán az MR2-n hallottam a Paradise-t - már előtte az Every teardrop is a waterfall kilpjén is megakadt a szemem - és akkor gondoltam, meghallgatom a Mylo Xyloto-t (a Coldplay ötödik albuma, október 24-én jelent meg).
Akkor jött a felismerés: sokkal korábban meg kellett volna hallgatnom!
A lemez egy remekmű!!!
Nem az a három dal viszi el a hátán az egészet, ami szerintem a Chris Martin személyes zsenialitásának bizonyítéke - Paradise, Every teardrop is a waterfall, Princess of China - hanem a többi dal is egyedi, unikális. Az egész album hangulata szerintem, olyan euforikus és mágikusan boldog.

A lemezt a frontember bevallása szerint számos dolog inspirálta, úgy mint a középiskolai graffiti-k, az HBO sorozata a Wire és az egész korong egy szerelmi történetet mesél el Mylo és Xyloto között, amely persze boldog véget ér. :)
A zenekar bevallása szerint a következő albumot sokkal személyesebbre és akkusztikusabbra tervezik, mint a Mylo Xyloto-t.

I never liked Coldplay, because alternative music is not my thing. Just this was the way i thought, and then i heard this amazing song Paradise of the new, fifth studio album. Off course this wasn't the first song that i heard from Mylo Xyloto - the video of Every teardrop is a waterfall touched me - and i listened the whole album. 
Right now i can say, this isn't typical music album with 14 tracks and just 3 real good. But yes it have 3 awsome song, which i prefer the most and this 3 songs representing Chris Martin's genius: Paradise, Every teardrop... and Princess of China. But Mylo Xyloto (released on 24th October) got 14 awsome and real unique tracks. In my opinion: the album has euphoric, magical happy mood. I really obsessed with it. :)
Chris Martin said that a lot of things was inspired him by writing the songs, it is a concept album, which tells a love story about Mylo and Xyloto. Off course with a happy ending. Influenced by HBO series Wire and inspired by american high school graffitis. 
The band told the next album will be more acoustic than this and a little bit personal.
