The vengeful killer: Rihanna

Rihanna-t amióta megpofozta Chris Brown, rendesen megváltozott. Először tövig borotváltatta a haját, aztán megnövesztette és pirosra festette. De, hogy jókislányból rossz kislány lett az is egy jel volt. Nem beszélve a fegyverekhez való vonzalmáról. Már a Rated R első klipjében a Russian Roulette-ben is pisztollyal kacérkodott az énekesnő és most a Man Down-ban is.
S persze meg kell említenem a szövegek harciasságát, vagyis, harciasabbak lettek a dalszövegek az elmúlt két lemezen. Persze vannak lájtosabb, kacérabb dalocskák is, de ami igazán őszinte az kemény. És olyan dolgok ellen lép fel Rihanna, amit már ő is átélt, pl. nők elleni erőszak. Ez mostani klipjének a témája is. Szerintem zseniálisan jó lett a klip.

Szeretem az olyan videókat, amikben van sztori és nem csak vonaglik benne az előadó. Arról már korábban írtam, hogy a California King Bed-et is jegyző Anthony Mandler vezényelte a klipforgatást és sokkoló videót, amelyben szoros kapcsolat lesz a szöveg és a vizualitás között. Szerintem ezt  maximálisan sikerült megvalósítani!



Since Chris Brown slapped Rihanna, she changed a lot. She shaved she's hair to the hilt, after this painted red. The good girl gone bad, we saw and hear it. Not to mention her fascination for weapons, first in the video of Russian Roulette and now in the ManDown video. 
In addition, i should mention the hard lyrics of the last two albums. Off course she also have lighter or flirty lyrics, but really honest songs are hard! She deals subjects, which she suffered to for example violence against women. This is the subject of the ManDown video. I think, this video is really good.


As i wrote before the director of the video Anthony Mandler said, Riri will shock us with the Mandown video and he teased that the subject of the lyric and the visualisation will be close in this video. After seeing the results, i think the second work (Riri and Mandler worked together on California King Bed's video) was successful.
